Wait…Why Don’t I Live in Cali Again?

This week, I was blessed to spend some time in SoCal and explore the beautiful beach city of Redondo Beach. While I’ve been to LA plenty of times, this little gem just miles from LAX was new to me. It’s a town stuck in a time capsule, with the charm and appeal of a boardwalk that looks like it was plucked straight from a simpler era with mixes of modernity sprinkled in. With something for every walk of life from the cushy marina-front Portofino Hotel and private SUP club, Paddle House, to the family-friendly restaurants and arcades, here’s a quick photo tour of Redondo.

Exactly what you picture an ocean-side city to be.

Everything you want a beach city to be.

It's ocean views all the way at the nautical chic Portofino Hotel.

Just you and the waves crashing.

Boat envy.

These little guys almost outnumber the people and you can hear them chatting and frolicking right from your window.

Seafood heaven -- oysters, and mussels and lobster, oh my.
